I am very excited to announce the release of my first single today on Leaf Music, featuring Dance II from Ana Sokolović’s Cinque Danze per violino solo. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to record this wonderful piece and to play great music by Canadian women! I am very excited to announce that a single from my upcoming album, Into the Stone, will be released on July 19, 2019 on Leaf Music. The featured piece is Dance II from Ana Sokolovic’s wonderful piece Cinque Danze per violino solo.
I am thrilled to announce that I have recently received funding from FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) for a recording of works by Canadian composers for solo violin. I am very excited to work with Jeremy VanSlyke, who will record this album, and the Leaf Music label on this project. More to come!

I am very excited to be part of a recording project with the Acadia New Music Society featuring works by Derek Charke, Juno award-winning professor of composition at the Acadia University School of Music, and featuring Dr. Charke as flute soloist with Mark Hopkins, conductor, and the WIRED! Ensemble. The recording, In Sonorous Falling Tones, was released on June 13th, 2017 by the Canadian Music Centre, and recently received an ECMA nomination for 2018 Classical Recording of the Year.

On May 18th, Jacob Caines, clarinet, Jennifer Publicover, flute, and I were thrilled to perform the world premiere of Rhizome, a new piece by Nova Scotian composer Lucas Oickle. This piece was commissioned to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts in Halifax, NS.
